Wyatt's Warriors

When Jason and I bought our first house, we were eager to meet our neighbors and settle in.  Much to our surprise we moved in right across from a friend of mine from high school and his family.  I was pregnant at the time and Rod and Sam had two little ones.  Wyatt is their youngest and at the time we moved in he was only 4 months old!  Wyatt is now a busy and adorable 2 year old and him and Eyan LOVE playing together and fighting over toys.  My neighbors are pretty awesome people!

So why "Wyatt's Warriors?"  Well just shortly before Wyatt turned 2 he began having seizures.  Rod and Sam acted quickly and had tests ran and little man was diagnosed with Epilepsy.  This was in July.  Sam did a ton of research and found out about the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation.  She got into contact with them and they have been nothing short of a blessing.  They sponsor a walk every year in honor of their daughter that passed away from seizures.  They were also able to help locate a group that could match little Wyatt with a service dog.  Wyatt will train with this puppy that will help recognize his seizures and help him out with day to day activities.  However, "GUS GUS" as we all affectionately call him, is VERY expensive.  So to offset the costs, Sam and Rod and many other awesome people have been fundraising.  The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation is giving a portion of the walk proceeds to help fund the dog and then there will be a spaghetti dinner on November 19th to raise the rest of the funds.  Let me know if you are interested in attending or in donating, every penny counts!

Anyway, the walk was a TON of fun and Eyan made a furry friend, so here are some pics of our super duper day!

Holy Photo Dump

So I have been blogging from my school computer lately.  Eyan is a wild man as of late.  Currently he is running around the house with a ponytail holder in his mouth chasing the dogs and playing in the dog water.  This is a calm moment for him.  You can only imagine what the "hyper" moments look like :)

Since I have been blogging from my school computer and I cannot add any software without admin approval, I haven't been able to upload any pictures.  My home computer is a POS so I avoid it like the plague.  Jason and I plan on getting a new computer, but I am really thinking of getting a new laptop instead of a desktop...or maybe both!

Either way, I am sure my lovely readers are eager to see what this wild man has been up to.  So here goes!

Last Thursday, Jason and I decided to have family time away from the TV so we lit a fire in our classy little fire pit and dressed Eyan from head to toe in Camo.  It was nice and relaxing and my kid sure knows how to work the camera.  No joke, we didn't pose him for these.

My kid absolutely LOVES cookies.  He asks for them about 10 times a day when I am with him.  I found some delicious mint Oreos and he loved them up.  Here is a great photo dump of Oreo face :)

Can I just tell you how much my kid LOVES to be outside.  He loves to chase the dogs, play in the dirt, swing and slide, and help his daddy with the yard work.  He got this awesome bubble lawn mower  for his birthday and we used this toy a TON.

The last set is just Eyan being Eyan.  Enjoy!

Loves this truck!

Yummy Spaghetti!

My kid LOVES glasses

I am Cornholio

Seriously though he was crying because he couldn't get his shirt off and I made him take pictures.

Sometimes a laundry basket is all you need

Right...He just looks guilty

Mini-Bucket List

So I have been thinking for a while about everything that I want to get accomplished before I err...leave this Earth.  I am positive that after I get done making this list, I am going to think of more to add to it.  That is why I am calling it my mini-bucket list.

Well here goes, my mini bucket list. (In no particular order)
1. Stay at my job and love it
2. Have more babies (yes that is plural...yes I am thinking more than 2...yes I am tired)
3. Get a passport
4. Go to Europe and visit, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany and any other amazing places with my family!
5. Take family pictures every year
6. Take Eyan to Disney
7. Pay off my mortgage!
8. Take my parents on a vacation
9. Take a second honeymoon to a exotic place just me and the hubby
10. Save $30,000.00 just to have it...again
11. Finish the basement
12. Get a Harley Davidson of our very own (Completed!)
13. Renew our wedding vows with our kids as part of the ceremony
14. Spend $1000.00 in a single day on nothing but pampering and clothes for myself
15. Get a real psychic reading (cause that stuff is cool)
16. Get over my fear of flying...Never fly in a small plane though!
17. Go indoor skydiving (again fear of flying makes jumping out of actual plane impossible at this stage)
18. Swim with the dolphins again...except with my kiddo
19. Visit ALL 50 states (been to 18 that I remember)
20. Go to 5 concerts (been to 2)
21. Work on a Habitat for Humanity Home
22. Give back to at least 5 service organizations
23. Get back into a size 8...and stay there!  (Soo SOO close!)
24. Buy a farm and get some farm animals (horse, chicken, cow, goat)
25. Go on a cruise

So there is the start to my mini-bucket list!   I am sure that I didn't get it all.  I guess that is part of the fun though, coming up with cool things to do and see and experience with the hope of one day attaining those experiences and the drive to actually do it and then adding to it once you have accomplished your 1st list!

I won the candy bar!

So that is a big NEGATIVE to the almost baby.  I am a bit sad, but honestly the timing was not right, so someday the timing will be right!

Waiting for my chocolate bar!

I'm going to win a candy bar!

Well readers, here we are a couple weeks after my last post.  I apologize for the neglect, my new job and my monster ninja are ruling my world right now.   Thanks for bearing with me!

Anyway, my neighbor is sure I am pregnant.  I have no clue one way or the other.  Who knows if that damn pregnancy tracker app actually worked or not.  I still have a few days before I know for sure anyway.

Well, I mentioned to her that I could be pregnant and that I have been having some weird things going on (cramps, fatigue, mood-swings).  But in all honesty I am pretty certain that I am not.  So I bet her a candy bar.  Not just any candy bar, a $2.50 Willy Wonka Exceptionals chocolate bar.  Those damn oompa loomps sold me on those, but I just cannot bring myself to actually purchase a $2.50 candy bar.  So I have to win it!

If I am not pregnant then she owes me one of those scrumptious looking bars,  If I lose, then I owe her 2 (one for her and one for her little fetus).

Anyway, I am going to WIN!

That is it for now, I will keep you posted on yummy that chocolate bar tastes!
