Valentine's is right around the corner and I really want to do a special family dinner complete with dessert!  Cue Reese's Spreads to make these amazingly simple Mini Reese's Pies!

I always love trying out new products so when I received a jar of my favorite candy made into a spreadable concoction I was super ready to make something.  Reese's spreads taste literally just like a Reese's peanut butter cup with all the creamy, nutty flavor that you would expect.  It actually does spread well and is definitely my go to sandwich spread from here on out.

I wanted to create a dessert out of this deliciousness, so I decided to throw together some mini pies.  My family loves Reese's so I know that it will be a hit.  My practice run last night went amazingly!

    Directions:

    • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and lightly spray the bottom of your muffin tin cups with cooking spray.
    • Roll out the pie crust and then using a cookie cutter, cut out 12 circles.  I used a regular mason jar lid which was perfect!
    • Place the mini pie crusts into each of the cups of your muffin pan and gently form them to the cup.  Place in the oven and back for about 6-7 minutes (we are at high altitude so this may vary, I would watch them closely).
    • Take them out and place about a tablespoon of Reese's Spreads into each pie crust.  Place back in the oven for 1 minute to allow the spread to melt a little.  DO NOT bake the spread, just slightly melt.
    • Use a spook and spread the Reese's spread into the pie crusts and allow to cool a little.  These can also be placed in the fridge or freezer and still taste amazing.  I loved them warm and cold!
    • When they are at your preferred temperature, decorate with whipped cream topping and what every else you enjoy!
    • Serve and have a wonderful day!
