Fall is here! I have decided to do a mini series through the next couple holidays on Mantle Makeovers! I am starting with a beautiful Fall mantle that is also budget friendly!
I feel like the fireplace mantle in our living room is a huge focal point. In fact I have a two sided fireplace and we love it. We built the mantle shelf when we first moved in and then just sort of left the same beach themed decor with a few little changes here and there. However, last Christmas I changed up the mantle a bit and boy did it really help to make my home feel warmer and more festive. I was so excited to start on my mantles this year. Check out what I came up with for just under $30.00!
Hello Fall sign: Target dollar bins $3.00
Glitter pumpkin, wine glass & candle: $3.00 total at Dollar Tree
Acorns and pinecone mixture: 2.00 at Michaels
I've hand the candlesticks for 10 years.
Floral arrangement: $4.00 at Michaels (on sale with a coupon!)
Scarecrows and glitter leaf (left): Dollar tree $3.00 total
Glitter Pumpkins, Candle & Wine Glass: Dollar Tree $4.00 total
Hay Bales: $2.00 at Michaels
I love this mixture so much and there was enough to fill both wine glasses
Banner & Lights: Target Dollar Bins $6.00
Leafs: $1.00 Dollar Tree
Oh but I was not done there. The rest of my house needed a bit of a pick me up! So I went to town!
I love all those beautiful chalkboard signs on Pinterest, so I decided to try my hand at ours.
Added some strands of leafs above our kitchen cupboards
Fell in love with this adorable burlap wooden crow harvest sign from Michaels. (On sale!)
This little Dollar Tree rock had me at Acorn.
I am not completely in love with this area yet, but I am working on it
The kitchen table. Used some of those felt cut outs as placemats, a roll of burlap as a runner and a festive table cloth.
...and those acorn salt and pepper shakers.
My home just feels warmer and these little changes are actually really keeping me relaxed and festive. We are using fall scented Scentsy candles and everything is just feels right. I love my decor right now and although Halloween is next up, I think we will keep Fall up for a bit longer.
Tell me, what is your favorite thing about Fall?
