At this point you are nearly sick of Thanksgiving leftovers...however, you MUST make this easy 4 ingredient Turkey Noodle soup with the last of that delicious turkey. Your tastebuds will thank you and so will your family.
Yesterday on my way home from work I was thinking that I needed to use the last of my turkey. I remembered that my mom used to make this amazing creamy, salty but not too salty, gooey noodle deliciousness. So I called the lady and I asked for the recipe. I was extremely surprised to find out that the recipe was all of 4 ingredients and 15 minutes of your time.
- Left over turkey (at least 1 cup)
- 1 bag of Grandmas Noodles (frozen food section)
- Chicken Stock (32 oz)
Recipe (serves 4 adults):
- Bring the chicken stock to a boil, break your turkey up into smaller chunks and allow the noodles to thaw according to the package.
- Put everything in the pan and boil for 15 minutes.
- Add pepper to taste
It was positively the best way to finish off the last of that sleep inducing turkey! We ate it all, like every single drop and now my husband thinks I need to cook another turkey for more soup.
Have you used up all your turkey leftovers?
