Our mantle is a centerpiece in our home. The fireplace was actually a huge selling point to the home. It is a two way fireplace so we can see it on both sides of the wall. It did not have a mantle so one of our first home projects was creating this. It may not be much, but I love it and adding festive decor really brightens up our family space. Check out this super budget friendly and really easy St. Patricks Day Mantle Makeover.
St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite little holidays. For some reason I just feel like it is a warm happy holiday where gifts aren’t necessary and promoting happiness and friendship is center. For us it is not so much about the beer and fun, but more about enjoying the cheesy holiday spirit, plus I mean green and gold and all things glittery make me super happy!
When you are on a budget, there is not much out there to decorate with, but thankfully my go to 3 stores had some great items that I brought home and put together for a simple but festive little makeover.
The Dollar Tree won my heart with the little bobble head leprechaun and the Irish blessing blarney stone. I also grabbed the sparkly shamrock there. The Luck sign came from Michaels. In total I spent about $8.00 on these little items.
Target’s dollar section has this great glass jar and the wooden shamrock. I was going to fill the jar with something, but I cant figure out what I could put in there that would not look cheesy. The shamrock plant was from Michaels. The total spent on this section was about $10.00.
I found the garland at the Dollar Tree, and the St Pats Day sign came from Target. It has been really fun adding this pop of St. Patricks Day into our house. Hope you have enjoyed these Mantle Makeovers. For more inspiration on a budget, feel free to check out our Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Valentines Mantles on a Budget as well!
