Right before we went on Thanksgiving break we were told that our little guy was getting the Student of the Trimester award for citizenship the last day of school. The husband got up early and took our kiddo to school, none of us had mentioned that he was receiving this award and he was super excited when his name was called!
It has been a very rough year for our family and the beginning of the school year was a harder transition than normal. We were fearful that some of the adjustments in our own home were affecting his schooling. Thankfully, he has worked through those adjustments and his positive changes are being recognized. We are so proud of our kiddo for representing himself as a positive, friendly, helpful and loving person that his classmates and teachers look up to.
